EICR reports
Electrical safety reports, explained plainly
Landlords in England need an EICR at least every five years. Businesses and homeowners use them to check older wiring before problems start. Every observation on your report gets one of four codes.
Danger present
Immediate risk of injury. We make it safe on the day.
Potentially dangerous
Needs urgent remedial work. Fails the report.
Improvement recommended
Not dangerous, but would bring the installation up to date.
Further investigation
Needs a closer look before it can be coded.
